Truck Overturns, Snaps Electric Pole Shutting Hillsdale Intersection For Hours

An overturned truck that snapped an electric pole and downed live wires closed a Hillsdale intersection Tuesday, July 9.

As of 5 p.m., local police were urging motorists to avoid Hillsdale Avenue and Kinderkamack Road, which is expected to be closed for the next 4 to 6 hours.

PSE&G responded to the scene for repairs.
